The another case of our client who has sustained severe physical injuries has been now closed by reaching an appropriate settlement. In September 2012 our Client was a participant of a coach crash in France.
As the result of index accident our Client has been severely injured – she sustained a multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) i.e.:

On 6th of October 2016 the Regional Court in Kraków made a ruling in the case of the Client of the Budzowska Fiutowski and Partners. Legal Counsel. Our Client was injured in the train crash that took place in March 2012 near Szczekociny. It needs to be reminded that as the result of the accident 15 people have lost their lives and more than 50 have been injured. Although our Client has not sustained any severe physical injuries, she suffered from long-lasting Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

A plaintiff, represented by Atty. Michał Sikora from the law firm Budzowska Fiutowski & Partners, was the company which is the leading Polish manufacturer of technical products of silicone, rubber and latex, operating both on the Polish and foreign markets. The case concerned compensatory claims in connection with the improper performance of the sale agreement and quality assurance agreement.

BFP has recently represented a client in a personal injury case following a serious road traffic accident that occurred in 2012 in Gdynia, Poland. The parties injured in said accident – including our law firm’s client – were citizens of the United States of America, as well as soldiers from the elite Navy SEAL force.

Att. Jolanta Budzowska represents the Polish resident who, due to a traffic accident in Great Britain, will shortly be paid considerable compensation by UK-based insurer. The compensation will consist of the redress for non-pecuniary damages, pecuniary damages and lifelong periodical benefits paid to the injured party. The traffic accident that the injured party participated in resulted in his health deterioration and in his partial incapacitation before the Polish Family Court.
