On 17 May 2012, Mr Michał Sikora took part in a meeting with the representatives of the Royal Bank of Canada, organized by Law & Partners Foundation at its headquarters at the Three Crosses Square no3 in Warsaw.

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Joanna Lazer, attorney trainee who holds the position of Business Development Manager in the law firm Budzowska Fiutowski and Partners. Legal Counsels, has been invited to deliver a lecture on "Marketing and internal communication in law firms - how to develop the conception of law firms branding and to involve lawyers in its implementation".

In January 2012 Mr. Benedykt Fiutowski participated in an interesting research project devoted to the issue of European contract law. The aim of the project was to consult the lawyers who are actively involved in conducting cross-border disputes, and thus, to obtain their opinion on the development of the European contract law and to verify the experience regarding the need to harmonize legislation in this field.

In the October newsletter we encouraged you to participate in charity auctions as a part of the campaign Women in Law. From the outset of the said campaign our law firm was actively involved in the latter, and Mrs. Jolanta Budzowska as one of the twelve women – partners of renowned Polish law firms – took part in a photo shoot for the calendar. The proceeds from the calendar sales and other items submitted for auction are intended to help the wards of the foundation Between Heaven and Earth, which organized photo exhibitions and auctions in Wrocław, Kraków and Warsaw.
